ABOUT
This Is Calvary Christian College | Christian Values in Education
Calvary Christian College is a renowned Christian learning institution whose mission is set on developing future leaders of integrity.
Since the Primary School was established in 1986, the school has grown into a fully established High School, providing learners with an exceptional educational experience rooted in Christian Values in Education. Throughout its growth, the school has consistently achieved outstanding academic results while fostering integrity, respect, and strong moral character. We are proud to have maintained a 100% IEB matric pass rate every year since 2010, reflecting our commitment to academic excellence and values-based learning.
We have earned a reputation for placing our learners at the core of our academics and shaping them through sport, extra mural activities and training them through our leadership programs to be leaders of integrity.
At Calvary Christian College, we believe education is about more than academic achievement. Our approach to Christian values in education focuses on nurturing learners academically, personally and spiritually, while encouraging strong values such as integrity, respect, compassion, responsibility and faith.
Alongside our academic achievements and credentials, our school is conveniently located for easy access by learners and parents from the surrounding communities of Walkerville, Lenasia, Meredale, Mondeor, Ridgeway, Winchester Hills and Eldorado Park.
We are also just 2 kilometres from Southgate and approximately 6 kilometres from Soweto. For convenient transportation, a municipal bus service passes directly in front of the school, making access easier for learners and families.
Our Vision
The vision of Calvary Christian College is to develop future leaders of integrity through Christian Values in Education. We are committed to nurturing learners who demonstrate strong moral character, compassion, responsibility, and faith while equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
